2008 College grads from Edgewood who are making a difference in the "real" world!
Winner: Andrea Thiemann   Oakland Catholic   Penn State University  
● Started the Mukwano Club at Oakland Catholic to financially support an orphanage in Uganda.
● Traveled to Mississippi to provide hands-on recovery services following Hurricane Katrina.
● Organized a volunteer babysitting service for families at the Edgewood Club.

2009 Graduating from college this year!!

● Volunteered for four years in various roles at the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh.
● Volunteered for seven years at the Ellis summer camp. Also taught Sunday School.
● Served a term as the Edgewood Borough Junior Council Person.

● Launched a drive that distributed over 1,000 books to inner city schools coast to coast.
● Served as a leader in a student club that challenges children to stay committed to their futures.
● Volunteered at the Rosalia Center, providing services to women facing unplanned pregnancies.
